International Librarianship, Global Librarianship, International and Cross Cultural Perspectives, Global Library and Information Systems, Multicultural Librarianship, Library Globalization International Perspective Librarianship, libraries in rural development and third world countries, international aspects of professional library education and continuing education
All these phrases indicate an trend toward what we already know — that librarianship is a progressively global and international field. I believe that librarians have a social responsibility to address the literacy conditions around the world and to try to equalize access to electronic information. This blog is for those like-minded libraries, librarians and anyone else. My goal in this blog is to provide clarity to this profession as we navigate towards a global world.
Do you know of a project a librarian or library is doing to facilitate interest in collaboration, exchange of information, and professional development of librarians around world?

I’d be honored if you’d add a link to MELA Notepad, the blog of the Middle East Librarians Association (link given above), to your blogroll. If you check our blog you’ll see that I’ve already included your blog in MELA Notepad’s blogroll.
Thank you very much!
